About Egress Report

Egress Report is a small editorial site about one narrow problem: working out which business is behind an IP address, and what you can responsibly do with that answer. We write for analysts, growth engineers, security teams and founders who are evaluating or integrating IP intelligence. We aim to be specific about limits, including the large share of traffic that no service can name. Articles cite primary documentation where possible and mark vendor-published claims as such. We reference BusinessMCP’s IP to company API in several examples because its documentation is public and its behaviour is easy to check, but we also discuss alternatives. Nothing here is legal advice.
